Rujevica ( Cyrillic : Рујевица) is a village in Serbia .

The village is located in the Opština Sokobanja , in the Okrug Zaječar , in the east of the country. The place is 373 m above sea level. The village had a population of 260 inhabitants in 2002, compared to 337 in 1991, according to the last three population statistics, the number of inhabitants continues to fall. The population of Rujevica is made up of Orthodox Serbs . The village consists of 67 households. Rujevica is located around 19 km south of the eastern Serbian spa town of Sokobanja . In the vicinity of Rujevica there is a fountain which was donated in 1850 by the Serbian Prince Miloš Obrenović (1783–1860).
