Poružnica ( Cyrillic : Поружница) is a village in Serbia .

The village is located in the Opština Sokobanja , in the Okrug Zaječar , in the east of Serbia. The place is 417 m above sea level. The village had a population of 354 in 2002, compared to 424 in 1991, according to the last three population statistics, the population continues to decline. The population of Poružnica are Orthodox Serbs , but there are also a few Yugoslavs living in the village. The village consists of 87 households. Poružnica is around 9 km from the eastern Serbian spa town of Sokobanja . In the center of the village there is a memorial for the fallen Yugoslav partisans . On May 8, 2011, the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Great Martyr Marina was consecrated in the village .
