The village is located in the Opština Sokobanja , in the Okrug Zaječar , in eastern Serbia. Blendija is 346 m above sea level. The village had a population of 352 in 2002, compared to 448 in 1991, according to the last three population statistics, the population continues to decline. The population of Blendija is made up of Orthodox Serbs . The village consists of 108 households. Blendija is not far from the health resort Sokobanja . In contrast to other villages in the region, Blendija is a scattered settlement.
