Offering box Fronsac (Gironde)

The offering box in the church of St-Martin in Fronsac , a French commune in the Gironde department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was created in the 17th century. In 1910, the offering box was added to the list of listed objects ( Base Palissy ) in France as Monument historique .

The wooden sacrificial box in the Renaissance style has a carved relief on the round back wall depicting the seated Mary playing with the baby Jesus on her knees.

The box with the money slot is decorated with a garland .
