Optics Express (abbreviation according to ISO 4 : Opt. Express ) is a scientific , peer-reviewed journal that has existed since 1997 and is published as an online journal based on the open access model by the Optical Society (OSA, formerly Optical Society of America ) .
The articles in Optics Express appear online regardless of issue; the magazine issues appear every two weeks. The thematic area of the articles in Optics Express includes scientific and technical innovations in optics and photonics . The journal includes an Energy Express section for articles that concern developments for application to sustainable energy and environmental issues.
