The Oratorio di Santo Stefano protomartire is a Baroque church building in Palermo .

The brotherhood "Confraternita di Santo Stefano", which emerged from the church of Santo Stefano del Piano in 1580 , acquired a plot of land in 1600 to build an oratory in Piazza Monte di Pietà. After being damaged by an earthquake in 1726, it was restored in the late Baroque style by the architect Francesco Firrigno .

After a barrel-vaulted atrium one arrives at the oratory. The walls are divided by painted pilasters. The lunettes of the barrel vault are frescoed , depicting scenes from the life of St. Stephen . In the presbytery there are two stucco sculptures that Giacomo Serpotta be attributed.

The painted ceiling in the sacristy is worth mentioning.
