Ordem de Laran Luak

The Ordem de Laran Luak ( German  order for great nobility ) is an order of East Timor .

The Ordem de Laran Luak is awarded to foreign citizens who have been recognized as "fighters for national liberation" against the Indonesian occupation (1975-1999). The order was created together with other awards for merits in the liberation struggle with Law 3/2006 "Estatuto dos Combatentes da Libertação Nacional" ( German  statute of fighters of national liberation ).

With the presidential decree 13/2007 of April 4, 2007 the appearance of the award was determined.

The order shows on the obverse the map of East Timor and the inscription "Ordem Laran Luak" and at the bottom a map of the world above a Kaibauk , centered on the Pacific Ocean . On the back there is the Portuguese inscription “Amizade e Solidariedade” ( German  friendship and solidarity ).
