Order of Muhammad Ali
The Muhammad Ali Order was one of the highest Egyptian orders of merit in the Kingdom of Egypt and was awarded to individuals for great civil or military service to the nation.
history
The order was introduced in 1915 by Sultan Hussein Kamil , and abolished after the military coup of 1952 . The name was in honor of the Khedive Muhammad Ali Pasha . The ribbon is green with two silver vertical lines on each side.
