The Armenian Catholic Ordinariate of Greece ( Latin Graeciae ) was founded on December 21, 1925 and has its seat in Athens . The ordinariate , which is characterized by its extreme diaspora situation , rose from 450 to 550 Armenian-Catholic Christians between 1950 and 2002 , who are cared for by the only diocesan priest of the ordinariate in the only parish in the country.
Between January 7, 2003 and March 21, 2015, the Armenian Bishop of Ispahan ( Iran ) was the Apostolic Administrator of the Ordinariate.
