The Organ Pipe Cliffs (English for organ pipes cliffs ) are a series of rock cliffs on the East Antarctic Georg V. Coast . They are palisades made of dolerite columns west of Cape Wild .

They were discovered during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911–1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson , who gave them their descriptive name.
