Orhan Şam (born June 1, 1986 in Ereğli ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

society

Şam started his career in 2002 at Gençlerbirliği Ankara . During the winter break of the 2004/05 season he was loaned to Hacettepe SK . Hacettepe is Gençlerbirliği's second team. Then he loaned him for a season of the second division Mardinspor . Since the 2006/07 season Orhan has been on loan again with Hacettepe SK. In the 2007/08 season he was the only player in the Süper Lig to play all 34 games of the season.

In the following season he was team captain of Hacettepe SK. For the 2011/12 season, Şam moved to Fenerbahçe Istanbul .

In the summer he moved to city and league rivals Kasımpaşa Istanbul .

For the 2016/17 season, Şam came to an agreement with his old club Gençlerbirliği Ankara and signed a contract for two and a half years.

National team

Şam started his national team career in 2002 with a mission for the Turkish U-17 national team and went through almost all of Turkey's junior teams up to the Turkish U-21 selection .
