Ori Orr
Ori Orr ( Hebrew אוֹרי אוֹר, Born April 22, 1939 in Kfar Haim , League of Nations mandate for Palestine ) is a former Israeli general and politician .
Life
Orr was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in 1957 and served there for 30 years, e.g. B. in the north and in the central command . His last rank was that of major general ( Aluf ). He was Deputy Minister of Defense from November 27, 1995 to June 18, 1996 in the 13th legislative period or in the 26th government cabinet .
In 2004 he received the Yitzhak Sadeh Prize .
