The Orion Massif is a 22 km long massif consisting of a tangle of mountains , passes , ridges and cirques in the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 6 km east-northeast of the Scorpio Peaks between the upper sections of the Meiklejohn and Millett glaciers .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the massif after the constellation Orion in 1976 .
