Oriximiná , officially Portuguese Município de Oriximiná , is a municipality in the Brazilian state of Pará . In 2010 the community had about 63,000 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality of Oriximiná is located in the northwest of Pará and in the north of Brazil. With an area of 107,603 km², it is the second largest municipality in Paras and the fourth largest in Brazil.
The place Oriximiná is located on the eastern bank of the Río Paru do Oeste , about 30 km above its mouth in the Amazon .
