Orkut Büyükkökten (2007)

Orkut Büyükkökten (born February 6, 1975 in Konya ) is a Turkish software engineer who developed the social network services Club Nexus, inCircle and Orkut .

Life

Büyükkökten comes from the Turkish province of Konya . He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Information Science from Bilkent University in the Turkish capital Ankara .

Orkut Büyükkökten is also a former product manager at Google .

In 2008 Orkut Büyükkökten, who is openly gay as a Muslim, married his friend and life partner Derek Holbrook.
