Orodara is a city (commune urbaine) and a department encompassing the same area in the far west of the West African state of Burkina Faso near the border with Mali , in the Hauts-Bassins region and capital of the Kénédougou province . The main town, which is divided into seven sectors, and its six villages have 30,332 inhabitants (2006 census). Orodara is the center of the Burkinabe mango and orange cultivation.
