Orseis

Orseis or Orseis ( Greek  Ὀρσηίς ) is in Greek mythology, a Thessalian Naiad . Presumably she was considered the daughter of Oceanus or Peneius .

She married King Hellen and became the mother of Doros , Xuthos (according to other tradition, a son of Aiolos and Enarete , i.e. grandsons of Orseis) and Aiolos , who together with the three sons of Pandora and Zeus are considered to be the progenitors of the seven Greek tribes are considered.
