The Ortotokoi Dam ( Kyrgyz Ортотокой суу сактагычы ) is located on the upper reaches of the Tschüi in Kyrgyzstan .
The dam is located 20 km northeast of Kotschkor downstream on the Tschüi. Below the dam there is a settlement called Ortotokoi . The dam was built between 1957 and 1960. The highway A365 of Kochkor to Issyk Kul -See leads on the south shore of the reservoir along. The area of the reservoir covers 26 km². The reservoir (with west-east orientation) has a length of 12 km. The storage volume is 470 million m³. The fall height is 52 m.
The dam mainly serves as a water reservoir for irrigation of the agricultural areas downstream.
