Fixed earth station ( english - country earth station ) is - in accordance with Article 1.70 of the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as " earth station of the fixed-satellite service or in certain cases the mobile satellite service that are located at a certain fixed point or within a certain area on land and serve to provide a feed connection for the mobile radio service via satellite ".
