Location radio station
A location radio station (OrtFuSt, English radiodetermination station ) is a radio station of the radio location service for the purpose of radio location according to the definition of the VO radio . This uses the reception of radio waves to determine the location of an object, provided that it reflects or emits radio waves.
This term covers the radar device in general and in particular up to target lights, radio measuring visors, radar height finders, missile control radar and fire control radar in weapon systems, but also navigation radio stations , radio beacons etc. on land, in satellites, on ships or missiles.
