The Oscar Cove ( Spanish Caleta Óscar ) is a side bay of the Paradise Harbor on the Danco Coast of the West Antarctic Graham Lands . It is located immediately west of Garzón Point .
Participants in an Argentine Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1949 to 1950 named her after the first name of the deputy commander of their research vessel Chiriguano . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee and the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names jointly translated this designation into English in 1978.
