history
The company was founded in 1902 by Oscar Dörffler in Berlin . In 1914 a branch was opened in Bünde in Westphalia , which in 1919 became the company's headquarters. After Werner Dörffler-Schuband, who later became the SS brigade leader and major general of the Waffen-SS , became a member of the company's board of directors , the Dörffler company was converted into a stock corporation on November 24, 1919.
In 1964 the company, which had Dörffler sausages , Dörffler ham , canned meat, dry sausage and cooked sausage on offer and operated its own slaughterhouse, was renamed Artland Dörffler .
