Oscar Reyes

Oscar Reyes (* 1977 in London ) is an English environmentalist and author .

Life

Reyes joined at Somerville College of the University of Oxford with a BA from before his MA in Politics at the University of Essex made. He subsequently lectured in cultural studies at the University of East London , taught European politics at Goldsmiths College , University of London and was the producer of a weekly radio program for Resonance FM in London. He was also the author and presenter of the program World Week Watch on the controversial Iranian government television station Press TV . In 2005 Reyes became a Young Fellow at the Transnational Institute (TNI) in London. He worked there on the Environmental Justice project .

Reyes is currently (August 2013) an Associate Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies in Washington, DC . Reyes is also the environmental editor of the twice-monthly left-wing magazine Red Pepper in London .

Reyes is an occasional contributor to various newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian .
