Oscar Tascheret

Oscar Tascheret (born January 13, 1912 in San Juan ) was an Argentine diplomat and politician .

Life

Oscar Tascheret was the son of Guadalupe Quiroga and José W. Tascheret. He studied medicine at the National University of Córdoba and at the University of Leipzig . He headed the sanitary authority in the province of Cordoba . From June 22, 1946 to April 30, 1949 Tascheret sat as Senator of the Peronist Party for San Juan in the Senado de la Nación Argentina .

Juan Perón sent him as the first ambassador to Jawaharlal Nehru in India , where he was accredited on April 4, 1950. He was president of the Asociación Sanmartiniana Villa del Rosario - Córdoba.
