The Oshawa Assembly is a General Motors production facility in the Canadian city ​​of Oshawa on Lake Ontario .

The production area extends over 930,000 m². By merging two production lines, the plant was converted into a kind of flexible production facility in 2008. The Canadian Regional Engineering Center is also located on the premises . About 5,900 people work in the plant.

The fifth generation of Chevrolet Camaro is produced in Oshawa.

Here are cars for General Motors made. Pick-ups were also assembled in the factory until 2009 . The plant is one of the largest auto plants in the world and part of the larger GM Autoplex.

The plant has won numerous awards for high quality of production, including the gold plant award for having the highest output quality of any automotive manufacturing facility in North America.
