Oskar Bachteler

Oskar Bachteler (born May 2, 1896 in Rottenburg am Neckar , † March 17, 1961 ) was a German politician of the FDP .

The trained businessman was the founding chairman of Union Ohligs from 1949 . Bachteler was a member of the city council of Solingen from 1948 until his death . From 1956 until his death he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group in the council. From 1950 to 1954 he was a member of the state parliament in North Rhine-Westphalia , where he represented the constituency of Solingen-Altstadt-Höhscheid .
