Oskar Lockowandt

Oskar Lockowandt (born April 28, 1935 in Ülsbyholz , Schleswig-Holstein, † October 1, 2000 in Bielefeld ) was a German psychologist and graphologist .

Life

Oskar Lockowandt studied psychology , philosophy and classical philology at the Universities of Kiel and Freiburg .

In 1964 he became a research assistant at the former Bielefeld University of Education . With a dissertation on the factor-analytical validation of handwriting with special consideration of objective methods, he received his doctorate in 1966 under Robert Heiss . In 1978 he received his habilitation in the field of psychology and, after the integration of the Pedagogical University of Westphalia-Lippe into the University of Bielefeld, was a member of the Faculty of Psychology and Sports Science until he left in 1997.
