Teut Wallner

Teut Wallner (born July 14, 1923 in Berlin ; died December 20, 2018 in Huddinge ) is a German-Swedish psychologist and graphologist .

Life

Wallner studied psychology at the Free University of Berlin from 1949 to 1953 . Parallel to his studies, he trained in writing psychology with Wilhelm Müller (Prof. TU Berlin) and Alice Enskat (psychologist), which he completed in 1953 with the graphologist exam in Berlin before the examination board of the professional office at the Senator for Labor.

After completing his studies, he went to Sweden to the Institutet för tillämpad psykologi in Saltsjöbaden , where he worked as an industrial psychologist and was also entrusted with writing psychological research.

Since Wallner repeatedly encountered ambiguities and doubts in writing psychology in theory and practice and his critical questions could not be answered satisfactorily, he began his own research in 1955. These applied above all to the comprehensibility (objectivity and reliability) of the graphic variables, the validity (validity) of statements relating to the psychology of writing, and the development of methods (dating of undated manuscripts based solely on handwriting ; experiments with the schematic evaluation of handwriting variables ; drafts of evaluation models).

Since the beginning of his research, Teut Wallner has published over 90 publications in specialist journals in German and Swedish. In addition, a compendium of writing psychology was created in 2006 called "Basics and Methods in Writing Psychology" with a diagnostic evaluation method based on strictly scientific criteria.
