East Tyrolean Oberland
The Osttiroler Oberland predominantly includes those communities in the East Tyrol district that lie west of the Lienzer Klause in the Puster Valley . Mainly this name is only used by East Tyroleans themselves, outside the district this name has little meaning.
The East Tyrolean Oberland includes the municipalities of Sillian (also the capital of the East Tyrolean Oberland), Heinfels , Innervillgraten , Außenervillgraten , Kartitsch , Obertilliach , Untertilliach , Strassen , Abfaltersbach and Anras . In some cases Assling is also included in the East Tyrolean Oberland.
