Ostuusimaa ( Finnish. Itä-Uusimaa [ ˈitæˌuːsimɑː ], Swedish. Östra Nyland [ ˈœstra ˈnyːland ]) was a local authority in southeastern Finland from 1997 to 2010 . It was detached from the Uusimaa landscape in 1997 as an independent landscape ( maakunta ) and, following a resolution by the Finnish government, was reunited with it at the beginning of 2011.

Uusimaa comprised seven municipalities with a total area of ​​5,499.47 km²; The capital was Porvoo (Swedish: Borgå ).
