Eastern cooperation

The federal government and the federal authorities ( SDC / SECO ) differentiate between the transition aid (from 1990) and the enlargement contribution (from 2007) in Swiss cooperation with Eastern Europe .

• Enlargement contribution , also cohesion contribution, "Cohesion Billion" - supports the "commitment in the ten new EU states with the aim of reducing economic and social inequalities in the enlarged EU"
