Othmar Schneglberger

Othmar Schneglberger (born January 8, 1962 ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). He was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 2004 to 2005 and from 2013 to 2017 .

Life

After primary school in Siezenheim, Othmar Schneglberger attended the high school of the Sacred Heart Missionaries in Salzburg- Liefering and then the 2nd federal high school in Salzburg, where he graduated in 1981 . After military service , he was a contract employee or civil servant at the Salzburg State Invalidity Office until 1992, and most recently head of the social service in Salzburg.

Schneglbgerger worked for ten years as district secretary of the SPÖ Flachgau until 2002 . He changed jobs after accepting a job offer from the state insurance company. Schneglberger was sworn in as a member of the state parliament on April 28, 2004 and was a member of the state parliament until December 13, 2005. Schneglberger resigned from the state parliament for professional reasons.

Since 2012 he has been the managing director of Volkshilfe Salzburg.

From June 19, 2013 he was again a member of the Salzburg state parliament. He left the state parliament on December 19, 2017, and was succeeded by Sabine Klausner as a member of parliament .
