The Otter Creek is an approximately 62 km long left tributary of the Tulameen River in the southern Canadian province of British Columbia .

Otter Creek rises 18 km south-southeast of Merritt in the west of the Thompson Plateau . Its headwaters are northwest of Aspen Grove at an altitude of about 1240  m . The Otter Creek initially flows southwards, later westwards and again southwards for the lower 28 km. It flows through the 5 km long Otter Lake , passes the village of Tulameen and finally flows into the Tulameen River.

Hydrology

Otter Creek drains an area of ​​673 km². The mean discharge is 3.26 m³ / s. In May, when the snow melts , the river carries the largest amounts of water.
