The sculpture Ottilie Hoffmann in Bremen - Mitte , Ostertorsteinweg / corner of Wulwesstraße on the small Ulrichsplatz , is included in the list of monuments for art in public space in the city of Bremen.

The bronze sculpture from 1987 on a stone plinth is 2.2 mx 1.5 m in size and was made by the sculptor Jürgen Cominotto .

Cominotto (* 1952), a pupil of Waldemar Otto , produced the bronze fountain Beim Bade (1986) in Bremen-Mitte in Schnoor and an untitled stone sculpture (1985) on Gerhard-Rohlfs-Strasse in Bremen - Vegesack .

Ottilie Hoffmann (1835–1925), born in this quarter , was a Bremen pedagogue, women's rights activist and social politician who was involved in the abstinence movement. In 1900 she founded alcohol-free dining houses in Bremen that bore her name.
