The Otto von Kotzebue Island ( Russian Остров О. Коцебу Ostrow O. Kozebu ) is an icy island off the English coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located immediately southeast of DeAtley Island on the south side of the Ronne Entrance at the southwest end of George VI Sound .
Russian scientists named it after the German-Russian explorer Otto von Kotzebue (1787–1846).
