Otto Beyer (politician, 1864)
Otto Beyer (born May 26, 1864 in Krauschwitz , Weißenfels district , † March 20, 1940 in Danzig ) was a German teacher and politician ( Social Democratic Party of the Free City of Danzig ).
Otto Beyer did an apprenticeship as a shoemaker. He later attended the teachers' college and worked from 1882 as an assistant teacher and from 1884 to 1929 as a freelance teacher in Ohra . During the First World War he worked as a shoemaker and obtained his master craftsman's certificate. After the war he was employed as a master craftsman in training war invalids.
He was a member of the SPD and belonged to the People's Day , the parliament of the Free City of Danzig, for four electoral terms from 1920 to 1930 .
