Otto Buchheister
Otto Heinrich Hugo Buchheister (born April 8, 1893 in Bornum ; † April 21, 1966 there ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Life
After attending the primary school in Bornum and the advanced training school, Otto Buchheister graduated from the ducal building trade school in Holzminden in 1913 . From 1913 he was trained at the Technikum Strelitz in Mecklenburg.
From 1914 Buchheister took part in the First World War with the Reserve Infantry Regiment 204 . After he was wounded in the spring of 1915, he was discharged from the army in the spring of 1917. He then settled as a farmer in Bornum in the Helmstedt district.
In 1929 Buchheister joined the NSDAP. For this he became a member of the Braunschweig Landtag in 1930 . From November 1933 to March 1936, Buchheister was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 16 (South Hanover-Braunschweig) . Although he ran again, he was not re-elected.
