Otto Eiselsberg

Otto Freiherr von Eiselsberg (born March 7, 1917 in Vienna ; † December 25, 2001 there ) was an Austrian diplomat .

Life

Eiselsberg was the youngest child and only son of the Austrian surgeon Anton von Eiselsberg and Agnes von Pirquets, the sister of the Viennese pediatrician Clemens von Pirquet .

Eiselsberg studied Jus in Vienna , where he was from 1936 to 1938 also listeners of Consular Vienna . In 1939 he received his doctorate in Vienna. After working in the diplomatic service in London, Geneva, Canberra and Moscow, Eiselsberg went to Tokyo (1966–1970) and Paris (1974–1982) as Austria's ambassador.
