Otto Hermann von Pfeilitzer-Franck
Otto Hermann von Pfeilitzer-Franck (born March 11, 1788 in Courland , † 1844 ) was a Russian officer and governor of German-Baltic descent.
Life
He was a son of Hermann Kasimir von Pfeilitzer-Franck and Caroline, née von Schlippenbach.
Otto Hermann first served in the 1st Cadet Corps in St. Petersburg, and in 1806 he became an ensign. He took part in the campaigns until 1814, after which he was in France in the occupation corps. In 1817 he joined the Guards Dragoon Regiment, and in 1823 he was promoted to colonel.
In 1829 he became a real asset. State Council appointed. In 1829 he was head of the fight against the plague and in 1830/1831 against cholera . In 1831 he became civil governor of Ekaterinoslav . He took his leave in 1843 and died the following year.
