Otto Hieber

Otto Hieber (born March 4, 1840 in Königsberg ; † December 27, 1929 there ) was a secret medical councilor and Freemason in Königsberg.

Life

Hieber studied medicine at the Albertus University in Königsberg . In 1864 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. As an assistant at the Königsberg women's clinic, Hieber took on the training of midwives . He later ran a doctor's practice in Königsberg . He received the character Go. Medical Council .

In 1869, at the age of 29, Hieber was accepted into the Königsberg Masonic Lodge Zum Todtenkopf and Phoenix and was its chairman from 1885 to 1922. In addition, he was Senior Order of the Grand State Lodge of the Freemasons of Germany (GLL) . He shaped the end of their teaching through numerous exegetical writings that are still valid today. He was an honorary member of around 90 lodges.

A medal in honor of Otto Hieber is exhibited in the Kant Museum in Königsberg Cathedral , in today's Kaliningrad . A bust of Otto Hieber stands in the order house of the great state box of the Freemasons of Germany in Berlin-Dahlem.
