Otto König (actor)
Otto König (born February 2, 1862 in Hanover , † January 25, 1946 in Starnberg near Munich ) was a German actor and acting teacher .
Life
On February 1st, 1881, the son of a chamber musician made his debut at the Hoftheater Hannover ("Scout" in "Faust (Part II)") and was later in Halle, Breslau, Potsdam, Krefeld, Hanau, Stuttgart, St. Gallen, Regensburg, Theater Augsburg and last worked in Munich until 1930. He founded the Munich-based Otto König Theater School and played the role of Fat Cousin at the first Jedermann performance at the Salzburg Festival on August 22, 1920 .
