Otto waiter

Otto Kellner (born April 19, 1899 ; † after 1989 ) was a German art historian .

Life

Otto Kellner studied art history at the University of Würzburg and received his doctorate there on September 5, 1923. From volume 19, 1926 to 36, 1947 he worked for the editors of the General Lexicon of Fine Artists from Antiquity to the Present in Leipzig . He also dealt with astrology and graphology and belonged to the circle around the astrologer Herbert von Klöckler in Leipzig . He was a member of the board of the Astrological Society in Germany (AGiD) founded by Hugo Vollrath and based in Leipzig. After the Second World War he lived in Hamburg, where he had worked as an editor for the magazine Film und Frau at Jahreszeiten Verlag since 1951 .

He was married to Elfriede, geb. Schinze.

His estate is in the German Art Archive in Nuremberg.
