Otto Lehovec

Otto Lehovec (born May 10, 1917 in Ladowitz , Bohemia ; † October 10, 1982 at Großer Ahornboden in Austria ) was a German school director and author .

Career

Lehovec studied at the Charles University in Prague and received his doctorate there in 1940. As early as 1939 he passed the academic teaching examination and entered the German higher education service in Prague. After the expulsion of Germans from Czechoslovakia he taught from 1945 at the Werner-von-Siemens-Gymnasium in central Franconia Weißenburg in Bayern . In 1976 he became senior director of this school, and in 1981 he retired.

Otto Lehovec was a member of the Bund Naturschutz in Bayern and the International Commission for School Geography . He married in 1981. In 1982 he died unexpectedly at the age of 65 during an excursion in the Karwendel Mountains .
