Otto Ludwig Christof von Schönberg , also Otto Ludwig Christoph von Schönberg (* July 20, 1824 in Niederreinsberg , † March 1, 1916 in Dresden ) was a Saxon member of the state parliament, chamberlain and manor owner .

Life

Otto Ludwig Christopf von Schönberg came from the Niederreinsberg-based line of the Saxon noble family von Schönberg and was the son of Carl Friedrich Christoph von Schönberg (born June 7, 1801 in Kanitz near Torgau; † May 27, 1875 in Niederreinsberg) and Henriette Emilie Born von Stammer (born June 7, 1801 in Kanitz near Torgau, † May 27, 1875 in Niederreinsberg).

He embarked on an administrative career at the Saxon court in Dresden, where he was first appointed chamberlain and then chamberlain. As such, he became a member of the First Chamber of the Saxon State Parliament by royal appointment in 1877 . He retained this mandate until his death in 1916.

Otto Ludwig Christof von Schönberg's first marriage was Sophie Juliane Marie, née von Kiel (born December 15, 1831 in Naples, † October 3, 1861 in Niederreinsberg) and, after her death, Wilhelmine Römer for the second time.

In addition to his parents' estate in Niederreinsberg, he also acquired the Mockritz manor from Baron von Lorenz in 1854 .
