Otto Müller (judge)

Otto Müller (born September 21, 1878 in Berlinchen , Soldin district ; † after 1945) was a Senate President at the Imperial Court .

Life

The son of a city treasurer studied in Jena, among other places, and passed the state examinations in law in 1900 and 1906 with a grade of "sufficient". During his studies in 1896 he became a member of the Suevia Jena Landsmannschaft ; he was also a member of the Prussia Königsberg national team . After graduating, he became a court assessor. In 1909 he was appointed magistrate in Labiau . He took part in the First World War as a non-commissioned officer. On October 1, 1918, he was promoted to the district judge in Königsberg. In 1921 he was promoted to the higher regional judge in Königsberg. On April 1, 1930, he was appointed to the Reichsgericht as assistant judge. He was promoted to the Reich Court Council on November 1, 1931. He was initially in the III. Criminal Senate and became Senate President of the 4th Criminal Senate on May 1, 1938 . In 1945 he was Senate President of the Second Criminal Senate .

Since May 1, 1937 he was a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 5,335,326). On April 20, 1938, he received the Golden Loyalty Service Award .
