Otto Moebus

Otto Moebus (born January 21, 1891 in Siefersheim , † September 16, 1970 in Alzey ) was a Hessian politician ( HBB ) and former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Otto Moebus was the son of the landowner Johannes Moebius and his wife Katharina nee Wörth. Otto Moebus was first married to Käthe, born Ritter, widow Knudsen. On July 15, 1955, he married Marie Helene nee Döring for the second time .

Otto Moebus studied in Munich, Berlin and Strasbourg and later became a farmer and winery owner in Siefersheim.

Otto Moebus was mayor of Siefersheim until 1923. From 1924 to 1931 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for the farmers' union.
