Otto Pöppel
Otto Pöppel (born March 26, 1904 in Memmingen , † 2000 in Munich ) was a German painter and graphic artist . He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Adolf Schinnerer and Julian Diez . He stayed in Munich until 1944. He painted several churches and public buildings. He often used the casein technique . He was married to Margarete Pöppel , who also pursued handicrafts. He was based in Kronburg near Memmingen in Upper Swabia .
