Otto Reinhold Strömfelt

Otto Reinhold Strömfelt , also Strömfeldt (born January 15, 1679 , † April 3, 1746 in Stockholm ), was a Swedish ombudsman and politician .

Life

Strömfelt was the son of Gustaf Adolf Strömfelt, the Swedish governor in Livonia and his wife Kristina Elisabeth Taube.

After studying law at the University of Dorpat , he took part in the negotiations for the Peace of Rijswijk in 1697. After several administrative posts in Sweden, he was one of the negotiators and signatories of the Peace of Nystad . He belonged to the nobility in the Swedish Estates Congress .

Strömfelt was married to Anna Magdalena Taube. The Taube family was a Baltic noble family with Danish-German roots.
