Otto Tremetzberger

Otto Leopold Tremetzberger (born August 31, 1974 in Linz ) is an Austrian author and media and culture manager.

Life

Otto Tremetzberger grew up in Mauthausen and studied theater studies and philosophy at the University of Vienna and International Arts and Media Management in Salzburg (SMBS, ICCM, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Columbia College Chicago).

From 2002 to 2004 he was managing director of Radio FRO in Linz. He is co-initiator and managing director of the Free Radio Freistadt . He is a co-founder of the non-commercial Upper Austrian television station Dorf and has been the station's commercial director since 2010. Since 2016 he has been chairman of the city culture council of the city of Linz.

Since 1999 he has regularly published journalistic articles and positions on cultural and media policy topics. He has been literary since 1995. Among other things, he was a permanent co-author of the digital literature project Die Flut by Xaver Bayer .

2014 first independent book publication with the story "Nelson Mandela maybe had a great time on Robben Island" in Limbus Verlag Innsbruck. The book describes the sensational everyday life of a nameless museum employee. An everyday life that slowly crushes it. In 2016 the novel "Die Invisbaren" was published, also by Limbus.
