dorf tv (or DORF , “Der Offene Rundfunk” ) is a non-commercial television broadcaster in Upper Austria ( Austria ) and, alongside the Viennese Community TV Okto, the second non-commercial television broadcaster with a full 24-hour program in Austria. In 2012 a similar station started in Salzburg with FS1 .

dorf tv has been receivable via DVB-T in large areas of the federal state of Upper Austria since June 22, 2010 . Dorf tv has been broadcasting on channel 33 in the LIWEST ​​digital cable network since August 2014. The “Schirmmacher” studio is located in the “Ost Brückenkopfgebäude” on the main square in Linz.
